Department

 

 

 

The Finance Department support MSF in carrying out its mission in an effective, efficient, ethical and accountable manner to its donors and the public at large by managing MSFUSA's budgetary, financial and accounting practice. 

 

 

 

Project

 

 

The Finance Intern will support the Director of Finance by coordinating the development of a new functional strategy and an internal Finance portal (intranet).


Objective: To assist the Director of Finance while acquiring basic knowledge of strategic planning and information management.

 

 

 

Tasks

 

 

 

The Finance Intern will be expected to perform the following tasks:

 

  • Assist with preparing for and coordination of meetings
  • Perform desk research on best practices and make recommendations
  • Prepare presentation materials, reports, and ad-hoc analyses

 

 

Qualifications

 

 

Requirements

 

 

• Major in Business Administration, Technology, Finance, or Accounting

• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Attention to detail
• Flexibility and ability to plan and prioritize multiple tasks
• Genuine commitment to the principles and work of the MSF movement
